Menotomy Indian Hunter Statue

The Menotomy Indian Hunter statue, located in the Winfield Robbins Memorial Garden, was sculpted by Cyrus Dallin in 1911. Dallin often portrayed Native Americans as heroic and sympathetic in his sculptures. Dallin created over 260 sculptures in his life, and this was one of many that celebrated Native Americans at a time when they were being depicted as savages in popular culture.
