Ephraim Hartwell Tavern

Ephraim Hartwell Tavern is a witness house located along the Battle Road Trail in Minute Man National Historical Park. Built in 1733, the Hartwell Tavern was the home of Ephraim and Elizabeth Hartwell. They operated a tavern at their home from 1756–1783. They had three sons who all fought with the Lincoln Minute Men on April 19, 1775. Hartwell Tavern is part of Minute Man National Historical Park and is open to the public on a seasonal basis.
