Concord Town House

The Concord Town House was built in 1851 adjacent to the Green by architect Richard Bond. Home to the town’s first public library, it was so popular that it was expanded in 1880. Serving multiple purposes over the years, the Town House has hosted Ralph Waldo Emerson, Bronson Alcott, and Concord Lyceum programs.
