Captain William Smith House

The Captain William Smith House is a another witness house located along the Battle Road Trail in Minute Man National Historical Park. It is a Colonial house built in the late 1600s where the captain of the Lincoln Minute Men, his wife and four children, and an enslaved person lived in 1775. Captain William Smith was the brother of Abigail Smith Adams, the wife of the United States’ second president John Adams.
